I see SAE has this for $499!!! And The French Revolution is $450. What so much for these particular CDs? Are either any good?

The Conti score was canceled by Varèse at the last second, but a few copies snuck out. Its rarity accounts for its price.

I love this score -- one of my favourite Contis. But I only have a bootleg or promo or leaked Varese release or whatever it is. Wish it got a proper, affordable release.

I have the original Varese release of Blood In Blood Out. It's short but excellent.

The original FRENCH REVOLUTION pressing was only 500 copies, so like Schiffy said above with BIBO, its rarity drives up its market.

It's also a damn fine score. I mean, if it were crap no one would pay anything for it. wink

I also own the Varese disc. I got a brand new copy a few years ago. I love it. Spymaster, we finally have THE FOURTH WAR, I remember you saying you like that one.

My favorite Delerue, and one of his best works IMHO.

I can't imagine paying $499 for any one CD. That is just ridiculous.

Just curious, Henry, how much did you pay for it??

The most I ever paid was for the one disc version of Fielding's "The Wild Bunch" for $29.
