Does anyone know who is the film composer for the upcoming movie DIANA with Naomi Watts?

(Korzeniowski would be my ideal candidate. Next choice, probably Gabriel Yared)

Now here's a film I expect never to suffer through. Sounds 'exciting...'

"The last two years of Princess Diana's life: her campaign against land mines and her relationship with surgeon Dr Hasnat Khan".

No idea for the music. Rachel Portman?

I went to IMDb and found somebody already listing under the Music Dept. credits (scoring protools engineer). I clicked on their name to see if there are any composers they frequently worked with. None.
But then I cross referenced it by checking if any of those names are composers the director of "Diana" has worked with recently. Only one name came up:

Éric Neveux

I strongly suspect he has scored it.

The director of the film, doesn't seem to have a frequent collaborator either.
He changes composer in each film he makes from what i see in his last films.

i won't be surprised at all, if we even see Alexandre Desplat (given he has also scored THE QUEEN)

But it's very strange that the film is coming out in a couple of months, and we don't know yet.

I think Diana's life would be a fantastic subject for an opera.

Maybe there is no composer, just existing music?

hmmmm... I don't think so, and this wouldn't be a good approach in my opinion.
Unless it was a biography film of a singer/composer.

Thomas Newman would be also an expected choice..

Oh, thank you for the news!
Her "never let me go" score was very good and I think it was her best score.
I hope she composes something along those lines or even better!

How predictable...but you can never go wrong with a Portman score.

Two replacements in one day. Interesting.

Odd. I like David Holmes but this seems like an odd switch. Hoping for the best.

Looks like this film has been panned by the critics..

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23985665

..except from the 'Daily Diana', which is hardly a surprise..

The Daily Express, however, counters the momentum, calling the film "a must see this autumn [which] will leave the audience in tears".
