He is my second favorite director, the MAD MAX George Miller not the ZEUS & ROXANNE George Miller. I think the THUNDERDOME score, which I just ordered, is my favorite. What about you guys?

The Babe (pig) movies are quite nice.
I think that the first Babe contains more orchestral score than the 2nd, it is really lovely.
Those are both composed by Nigel Westlake.

It's a shame he drifted away from directing movies after Lorenzo's Oil. I would have to say that my favourite score would be 'Witches Of Eastwick', then his 'Twilight Zone-The Movie' segment.

He did direct BABE: PIG IN THE CITY and the HAPPY FEET movies, and the upcoming MAD MAX movies.smileBTW did you guys know he was a doctor before he made movies? I don't think he even took a film class, the guy is incredible.

Yes, exactly these two, both incredibly great scores.

I'm with you, Henry. Maurice Jarre's score for Thunderdome is my favorite from Miller's films. You'll really enjoy the Tadlow 2CD set (if that is the one you ordered). The track named The Big Chase is worth the price all by itself.

1) Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome - a landmark in Jarre's career
2) Twilight Zone: The Movie (Nightmare at 20,000 Feet) - amazing, purely amazing
3) The Witches of Eastwick - not a masterpiece but better than any Harry Potter Williams score

Yes, SAE is still selling it for $29.95. Or get it directly from Tadlow.

Brian May's "The Road Warrior", for sure!

I love the rough, primal feel of it.

By a very slim margin, I'd give it to WITCHES. I am so in love with Daryl's theme.
