Read-Side Abrasions This is a scrape causing a fogged area, neither a radial scratch nor an axial scratch. It can result in an audible defect because it's wide enough to qualify as an axial scratch, see below. It too can be completely repaired." I have a hard time picturing this and there are no pictures provided that show this damage on CD's. Could anyone describe it better or perhaps show a picture of this kind of damage? Google didn't help. Could it be what happens if you rub the disc with alcohol or some other solvent?
