Has anyone had difficulty skipping from track to track on this disc? My copy just arrived today with 2 other CDs. The other CDs perform well but this one gets stuck and shuts off if I try to go directly to track 18 or 23 , etc. Is this a problem with the entire pressing or did I just get a bum disc?

Great music by the way. A Salter is a guaranteed buy for me and I am really liking Buttolph's INCA score as well. Some of Buttolph's INCA action music was used in the old ROCKET ROBIN HOOD cartoon. My first exposure to good music.

If you've read the thread you would know that no one has complained of such a thing - we haven't had any e-mails reporting problems either and we certainly would have by now so I wouldn't exactly make this leap about the entire pressing because no one but you has had a problem smile

Have you tried it in more than one player? The problem your describing is a new one on me - I've never heard of such a thing happening on any CD. Is it just those two tracks that's creating a problem? If it's a problem in more than one player, just drop us a note and we'll replace the CD.

Thanks, Bruce. I'll see if I can get SAE - from whom I bought it, to send a replacement disc in my next order. I did of course read the posts but if you just play the CD straight through, as many posters may have done, you'ld never notice a problem. It's only when you go skipping from track to track that the problem occurred. The problem did occur in multiple players and there does seem to be a weird metallic flaw on the edge of the disc. The metal within the plastic disc coating looks 'bent' or folded over on itself. It 's not just those two tracks, I just gave two random track numbers as examples. It's every single track.

If there was a widespread problem we would have heard from at least another person besides yourself. You clearly have a bad disc - it happens. I'm sure SAE will replace it, or we will.

I like the Bonus Track (29) "Julia's Minuet" from Far Horizons, and want to place it in the main program.
Anyone know where it should be placed in the order of things?
I recall the character Julia appears only near the beginning and end of the picture, but I don't remember where the Minuet appears.

It would be track 2 on the CD.
