I would like to add the movie features a very good score by pretty rare Meredith Wilson who also uses a brief but spooky electronic device toward the end of the movie when Bette Davis stares at her dead husband's bedroom door...
I would also mention the very surprising ending, an ending you simply don't expect to happen at that moment. It produces a very curious effect...
