Oh, I've been meaning to pick up MotU for ages. Must do so in the morning. Cheers for the heads up!
(I should note I have the original Edel CD, but had meant to grab the LLL release, missed it and then meant to get the Intrada but forgot about it - DOH!)

That How To Steal A Million hasn't sold out by now is a genuine mystery to me. It's a gorgeous score and it's John Williams but it seems even the John Williams fanboys aren't interested.

Instead of robbing a museum, maybe if Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole had been kidnapped by aliens .....

There are a few JW albums that haven't sold as well as I'd have expected, this being one of them. Its a shame as its cracking stuff.

Just added a copy to my shopping cart. For me this was a case of putting it off a while simply because it was unlimited then completely forgetting about it. Glad we have these reminders.

Neither of these releases were unlimited

I wonder- does John Williams outsell Johnny Williams?

Or is it another one of those dreadful scores from the 60's?

I always liked Johnny Williams myself. And all of his Altman stuff.

Wrong choice of words. Try 'no immediate sellout'.

Agreed. Those early years are chock full of wonderful scores such as Images, The Long Goodbye, Fitzwilly, The Reivers.... etc.
