They are the most complete scores ever released! Ok thanks. I have already ordered it through SAE but I would like to know how much music was left out. As both of them were never released in the past saying 'They are the most complete scores ever released' doesn't really help 100% more of CLEAN SLATE is available today than was available yesterday. That's a pretty big single day increase!

Received my copy today. Not the Silvestri I remember, but will give it a few more listens. There are definitely cues I will skip over in the future. "Where am I?" and "Always Looking for Cuba" are the highlights of the CD. Disappointed in these Silvestri scores, sorry.

It's surprising that people on this message board hardly pay any attention to these two unreleased scores by Alan Silvestri. Too bad to see that sales are not as good as we'd expected in comparison with Overboard. Are Silvestri fans not interested in his comedy/drama scores anymore?

I'd bought this yonks ago, gave it a listen and for some reason decided it was all 'jazzy comedy noir' for CLEAN SLATE & Gloria Estefan Samba/Mamba/Bamba for PEREZ FAMILY. Played the CD again today and sometimes I wonder what I've been smokin' in the past!! Some lovely warm, gentle romantic scoring from Silvestri in both scores and even action/suspense licks in CLEAN SLATE. And there are parts of PEREZ FAMILY which become almost BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT by Bill Conti. If you don't like the source-style music, traditional orchestral Silvestri music can be found in tracks 2-5, 7-10, 13-14 (Clean Slate) & 16, 18, 21, 23-24, 26-28 (Perez Family). If, like me, you've listened to this CD previously with your head on backwards, give it another spin!
