Need more clues.    Posted:   Jul 23, 2013 - 11:28 PM     By:   philiperic   (Member) what a shame that the inferior remake with its gratuitious nudity has prevented this original from being shown anywhere --- Jean Simmons is so much better and more beautiful than the young Brooke Sheilds. Most people dont even know this 1949 version exists - what I wont give to see this one restored by the BFI -- why not? Much less worthy films have been .
