This movie, which we've been hearing about since, what, 2010, has finally been acquired by distributor EOne, so we'll finally get to hear the score which McCreary has described on his facebook as "inspired by heavy metal and epic orchestral fantasy scores." If it is released this year, this will be an even extra-prolificer year for McCreary.

As much as I love Bear's work, I have to say... the fact this thing had so much trouble getting a distributor does not leave me with a good feeling... and I'm seeing comments on a site that leads me to believe there was a lot of controversy/politicking involved with this film (forced re-edits after bad test showings?)
Anyone know the inside story on this movie and why it's taken so long to get it out?
