Maybe I should give a third chance to that movie. Saw it twice in an interval of 15 years and got bored twice.
And the score from a composer I adore is not a favourite of mine either.

It's no masterpiece but it grows on you. Vaughn is great as always. Elmer's score is excellent though, very compassionate, very consistent. FSM has it of course.

I guess I was expecting something different first time I listened to it. Next time, I'll listened to it as a drama score and not a war score.
About the movie one of the problems is it looks like a TV movie rather than a feature film.
