I don't know if it was the kinds of things that the interviewer brought up, or that fact that Oldfield has become a mellower, more comfortable person, but what a pleasure to read an interview where Oldfield's not wishing he were somewhere else. To have him being so forthcoming is quite rare.
"Amarok" is just a stunning piece of work. Probably my favorite after the first "holy trio".
