Great, great, GREAT! Chris' music for the series kicks some serious butt! Very good action cues, too! I can't wait for the soundtrack

Well, it will all depend on the format they'll release this in and considering they couldnt release a decent album for a 200+ million project... well, the hopes aren't very high.

F***ing three character death spoilers! Damn it. Ugh.

Very excited about the score release, though. Lennertz is terrific.

Yeah, the spoilers are kind of strange. But I guess they think whoever buys the soundtrack has seen the show (which isn't the case: I usually buy a score if I enjoy the composer, not necessarily by watching the film or show). But the first spoiler (Ben's Death) is given away in the preview of the show and happens in the pilot, so at least that one's not as groundbreaking.

I really look forward to listening to the album! I would love a pressed disc, but a CD-R from Amazon is better than MP3.

It's a good thing thye let us know Christopher Lennertz composed every single cue after the first. For a second there I thought I might get confused and that JJ composed all the score and Lennertz just the theme. Thank God we have Lennertz's name beside every single friggin' cue sans one.

Yes, but it is available as a hard copy and not only available as download. I have placed my order.

This CD is just terrific! I could heap any adjectives of praise on the score but the best way to describe it is that it is just a perfect example of the joy of listening to film and TV scores. The wonder, the excitement, the magic. Makes me feel the same as when I first started listening to film scores, discovering this wholly creative and imaginative soundscape. Bravo Christopher Lennertz! This is now my favorite work by him, up there with Supernatural and Vampires Suck.

Been listening to a lot of TV scores lately. Robert Duncan's Last Resort was average; iZLER's Revenge was awesome, and Revolution is just outstanding (getting into Isham's Once Upon a Time music next). Eric Kripke definitely brings out the best in his composer, although of course the lion's share of credit is to Lennertz. I have previously really been interested in checking out the show, and now that I know the music is this excellent, I am that much closer!

Some of my favorite tracks are:

Life After iPhones
The Plane Gang
Road to Rigley
Matheson Adagio
Danny Down
Genesis of Power
The Lighthouse
Pendant in the Open
We're Saving this One
Requiem
Hairless Ewoks
Charlie Thanks Miles

I just read that Revolution has been cancelled by NBC. That's a shame. I really enjoyed the
music and the series itself.

Despite its problems, i enjoyed it most of the time. At least it had some quality music during its run. Here's hoping for a Season 2 soundtrack.

(bump)

Just starting to watch this series on DVD...does anyone know which tracks are taken from which episodes? Or can you provide a link to such information? Finally, does anyone know the correct sequencing of the tracks? They are not chronological on the album.

Please help, much thanks in advance! smile
