I liked the film quite a bit. As a native New Englander it got me right at the beginning when I could see real Vermont road signs from the car. I did feel the whole act on the lifeboat went on for a bit too long, though at the same time I realize that it probably couldn't have been tightened up any without losing its impact.
The score was rather predicable. I'm also not familiar with United 93, the film or score, so I could not place the music. While I was hearing it I assumed it was aping the end of Inception (which I guess must've ripped off from United 93.)
I really enjoyed this movie. Unfortunately, tracking in Powell's music from UNITED 93 makes me realize that Jackman's score, while serviceable, wasn't quite up to what Powell surely would have provided.
