Here's a Peplum chronology/discography of the Digitmovies series. I realize that this is an older thread and the concern about a 'missing' volume has been addressed, but I think this is a handy place to deposit this list. Over time, the Digitmovies CD serial #s/product IDs have sorted themselves out. Volume XXV was assigned to "CDDM223" but had gotten delayed in the release schedule for some reason. CDDM226 has a later #, but was released earlier as volume XXIV. Sadly, Carlo Rustichelli's great score for THE MINOTAUR-WILD BEAST OF CRETE has reportedly been lost. Yes, a sad loss. These types of movies and their music scores are not candidates for re-recordings. I still hope for Carlo Savina's HEROD THE GREAT to surface on disc, along with many other titles. Does any FSM member know details on the genre-blending TOTO' CONTRO MACISTE (1962)? Around this time, Armando Trovajoli was scoring Toto' comedies and had already done a MACISTE so Trovajoli seemed a natural choice to write for TOTO' VS. MACISTE. Yet, the IMDB also lists Francesco de Masi as its composer. Was this TOTO' item tracked with pre-existing Trovajoli & de Masi cues? (as was Mario Bava's 1966 KILL, BABY, KILL)
