Revisited the film last night. Love this score, great album, but frustrating in a weird way.
Elfman skipped a whole facet of the score, this Midnight Run type guitar scoring, including one montage that felt like it was damn near 10mins long.
There are some edits to existing cues that could go away, and film versions we may also never get.
Best case, a 2cd with existing album & complete score.

The thing about the skipped country, guitar based cues - they wouldn't really fit with the Reich/T. Newman style cues, but I'd be interested trying them on cd anyway, despite seeing why he left that off, since the contemporary outweighed the country, and there was only so much time to work with in the LP days.
Probably a moot point unless Mr. Incredible takes a post at Varese & starts to make shit happen.
