I don't have the DVDs, and I hadn't seen any episodes in decades, but when over at my brother's house a few weeks ago, a "random viewing" from his collection turned out to be "The Schizoid Man". I thought it was absolutely excellent, certainly as good as (if not better than) I'd always remembered the series to be. Totally compelling. Much of it was down to Patrick McGoohan's very idiosyncratic portrayal (he seems to just exude "intelligence on a higher level than mere humans"), but really everything was spot-on here. And wasn't Jane Merrow a doll? Posh '60s totty - a treat.

Yes, which also made him a great killer in COLUMBO too. He was always quite hypnotic to watch.

They are all good ESPECIALLY Fall Out 'cause it's so much fun! Seriously. It's no coincidence that McGoohan uses Beatles music in this because it's his own I Am the Walrus. If you view it as a good time episode it's great. And the amount of people I know who were conned when they saw 'Prisoner' billed under alternative channels (title with no other info) in the once exclusively ITV listing magazine Tv Times, here in the UK in the eighties when it turned to be indeed the Aussie series which was new to us then...! So, in no real order as they change depending on the day, or viewing: Free For All Arrival Chimes of Big Ben Fall Out Checkmate Difficult though when there's only 17, and it's a pretty perfect series. Seen them all so much they're like a favourite album of songs that I can watch anytime. Attended more than one weekend full series marathon party, including in the village, Portmeirion, itself. Was in (official appreciation society) Six of One for a few years, contributed to their publications and went on location in London for the documentary Six into One: The Prisoner File. Blink and you'll miss me! At about the 21.15 mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUysgDRYYqo Long blonde-ish hair, brown velvet jacket and white boots. And I just happen to have the Network BD sitting under my Christmas tree ready for my first hi-def watch. Be seeing them soon.
