La La Land Records: (January 10, 2011) To make things easier on some of you here is a brief list of titles that we are not able to License at this time: Contact Superman Returns Batman Begins All Harry Potter's 1492 The Last Samurai North By Northwest Practical Magic The Witches Of Eastwick
Of course, we now know why on two of those -- Intrada ended up doing NBNw, and Perserverance did TWoE (which MV said they can do the complete score to after the PR release sells out).

Hmm, these are the timings of the first three Harry Potter albums: "... and the Sorcerer's Stone" - 1:13:36 "... and the Chamber of Secrtets" - 1:10:08 "... and the Prisoner of Akzaban" - 1:08:24 Here's a novel idea. Why not release film scores that have never been on CD AT ALL ahead of more, mostly marginal, material from scores already extensively covered by existing releases?

Because Harry Potter released would sell really well and enable labels like LLL to invest in releasing other scores, some of which have not seen the light of day.

They said that about The Three Tenors and *real* classical releases too. Never once worked.
