hmmm... not a big fan of the comedy portion of the score, but fortunately that one ends quite early and the rest of the score (from track 6) is just... WOW! Incredible gorgeous writing for full orchestra, choir and soloists full of rich and beautiful themes! I couldn't believe Eshkeri will top Stardust anytime soon but he actually might have with this score! Kamen-like touches are just amazing and both performace and the sound quality is top-notch!
Easily one of the best scores of the year and possibly Eshkeri's best score to date!
Synchrotones reviews "Justin and the Knights of Valour".
Eshkeri does the best he can, for a film that sounds terrible and for a director who's fallen in love with the temp-track. Sadly, it's a 2nd rate Stardust/Back to Gaya... but I strongly suspect it's not Eshkeri's fault.
Yeah, right... too bad it is not possible to order it from overseas or Canada.
If you want to pay extra shipping and handling and pay more for the CD based on the exchange rate, then yes...this is an option. OR then again you could wait and get it when it is released in the US and pay around 11 or 12 bucks for it and free shipping from Amazon for a lot of people. Some people aren't made of money and that extra shipping charges and exchange rate add up. Why the need to be so snarky?
Had a chance to listen to this. God it's terrible. Choppy and mick-mousey to the extreme. Those "whimsical" glissandi can drive a listener crazy like what Jerry does to Tom.

Is it really that bad? I figured Eshkeri was a new composer to follow. I have liked many of his other scores. I will have to listen to the clips before I purchase.

I couldn't even finish it. Too mickey mousy and schizophrenia. And I loved his Victoria, Stardust, Back to Gaia, etc.
