I was browsing Intrada's Special Collection catalogue (about to place my next order), when I noticed that they seem to have marked the title as sold out:
http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.7793/.f

I don't recall a going out of print notice ever being posted for this one, though certainly stock would have moved due to the recent sale they had.

Limit one per customer at Screen Archives:

It probably went OOP silently during Intrada's Big Sale. I bought my copy when it was first released.

If it is indeed the case, I'm sure happy I bought my copy when Intrada had its big sale. I had put it off for a while but the sale clinched it, and I'm very happy it did because it's indeed a great score. Sounding like a cross between 1980s Godzilla and several Joe Hisaichi soundtracks.

I'm just happy I picked it up during the sale. I had my eye on it, but the discount motivated me to move quickly. I'm thankful, too - normally there is some sort of announcement of a title going OOP. Maybe like Island at the Top of the World, it just suddenly sold out without fanfare.

Same here, lovely & lively score; I always feel a 'John Williams' vibe when listening to John Scott, great stuff.

Only Two more copies are available at reasonable prices. I think one is new the other used but mint.

After those two, you start paying double or more the price.
