Two of my friends bought tickets to the upcoming John Williams concert with the San Francisco Symphony in Davies Hall on September 16th (with special guest Steven Spielberg). Unfortunately they can no longer make it, so they are selling the tickets. They asked me to spread the word amongst film music forums.
Both tickets are in the Center Terrace--where the choir would sit if they were being used. The benefits include an up close view of the orchestra (we're told you can actually see the music) and its conductor (JW!). We're told these are very good seats if you want to observe the conductor. SF Symphony has assured us and reassured us that there is no sound impairment. However, the video screens may be obstructed from view, and the very back of the orchestra may also be obstructed from view.
