here is a movie that i have seen on occasion with another wonderful score by friedhofer that evokes a lot of mexican-american themes, similar to his Seven Cities Of Goldandt has quite a few marches and great flourishes evoking that time period. if anybody knows if the ost is lying around the mgm vaults, please inform me and anybody else who might want to see this score released some day. it's another score by a great composer of the fifties era. thank you.

This is indeed a wonderful score and I would love to see it released.
I know Bruce Kimmel over at Kritzerland would dance a jig to be able to...but I believe he once stated the tapes are not to be found.

maybe someone knows of a friedhofer estate or society and whoever handles his music or papers so that we could get in touch with them to see if this score still exists. is there a friedhofer website where one can get in touch about the man and his music? thanks for any information.
