The nasty "zimmerisms" Doyle was forced to emulate are much more sparse and therefore less annoying. YOR hopes someone release this complete score oficially soon! ................ But yes the complete thing is better. There's a lot going on in it, plenty of themes which are extensively used. It's a shame a lot of people heard some RC/MV writing and then wrote it off. Even the Zimmer influences, Doyle integrates them very well into his style and even builds on them.
