YES IT WAS ON lp with another score I sold a few copies of that rare lp for about $ 30,00 years ago. This film didn't get much of a release in America.
VON RICHTHOFEN AND BROWN was on an LP along with Friedhofer’s PRIVATE PARTS.
VON RICHTHOFEN AND BROWN was originally to be shot on location in Munich. However, the shooting location was changed to Ireland’s Ardmore Studios where the popular 1966 Twentieth Century-Fox World War I feature THE BLUE MAX was filmed. Stunt pilot Charles Boddington was killed in a crash during production. The Irish government was forced to ground the twelve planes used for the aerial sequences being filmed at Weston Airfield near Dublin after Boddington’s fatal crash and another crash the next day when pilot Lynn Garrison and actor Don Stroud, as “Arthur Roy Brown,” suffered minor injuries after crashing into the Liffey River.

Yes, that was a disaster. There was a well established WW1 re-enactment flying circus there for years, now gone, alas.
Friedhofer's score is magic.
Apparently WWI fliers all suffered from diarrhoea, as a result of the castor oil mix in the engine lubricants, whose fumes they breathed in continually.
all i know about this film is that PENTHOUSE did a smokin' photo spread featuring Law and a superhot busty babe! I still have the issue from '72! I dont think any of that footage made it into the film since it is rated pg bruce
