Well, that makes sense. Polanski's always said that his film was more popular in Europe. Hope it gets the deluxe treatment over here- or the Euro edition will play in the States. I just got to have it!
I already have this on pre-order (one of my favorite films), but that so much of the packaging and stuff will be in French.... well, I could try to learn French. I do believe the film itself will be all-region and be playable without subtitles.
I doubt anything like this will be made available here in the states.

Gosh I just love this film. Hands down it is one of my favorites and I will never tire of watching it. Now, about this Blu Ray... does "toots le regions" means I can play it here in the States?

I love the moment when Chagall's wife slowly gets the point to Abronsius' innuendo when he demonstrates what he intends to do with the stake in his hand - for which he's amply rewarded in the comic style made consistent throughout the movie.
The US DVD of THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS is a fairly good transfer, but plagued by an abundance of white specks. I hope WB has done some digital clean-up for the Blu-ray.
