Just a thought...there are so many great comments and reply's on this forum its not always possible to add a comment due to time or whatever but just being able to 'Like' would be great.....
People have made many great suggestions. The boards software is quite antiquated and lacks many options available on other boards. Best option would be to ditch the software altogether and use something better. However it's been stated often, this board is "free" to us, but costs FSM a lot of money and it just may not be worth their time or money to upgrade.

What I want is the ability for Private Messages, which would cut down on a lot of the clutter and personal attacks around here.
Interesting idea. I've been a member on other boards that had this feature but the PM's could not actually be moderated. I don't know if it's still that way with the software (probably... wouldn't be "private" otherwise! ). So, unfortunately, the feature was in itself abused and actually perpetuated the fighting and insults, and the resulting bloodfeuds would inevitably carry over into the public threads. The problem rests in the people that want to fight in the first place. If they really want one, they'll always find a way. And they will always take it from thread to thread.
