Juano Hernandez, who played doomed jazzman Art Hazzard in this film, played a similar role in an episode of Johnny Staccato, "Collector's Item." Hernandez had a haunted, weary-of-life look to his face that worked so well in those roles. I was surprised that his list of film and TV credits wasn't longer.
