The picture of Streep is from the screen adaptation of Sondheim's Into The Woods, which includes Cinderella as one of many characters. The witch was played in the original Broadway run by Bernadette Peters.
It is not the Disney live-action Cinderella.

I've been increasingly drawn to the title track of the music for "Homeland," a series I've watched from the beginning but almost stopped watching after the very frustrating ending of season 1. But it definitely picked up in seasons 2 and especially 3 and I've been looking forward to 4 since the end of the explosive, pun intended, 3. But am I the only one who has had enough of Claire Danes going into her manic attacks with the bulging eyes? I like the actress, and this show has some of the best dramatic acting on TV, but when she does her bulging eyes routine all credibility for the series goes out the window for me. Obviously I'm in the minority, since she has repeatedly won the Emmy for Best Actress in a drama. Go figure.

Follow-Up to the preceding: Last Sunday (10-6-13) I decided to watch the newest episode of "Homeland" live, but Danes' manic routine so annoyed me that I had to turn it off and record it to watch later so I could zip through some of those moments that, for me, destroy all credibility in her performance. Yes, she's won the Emmy for it, but I still think they need to tone it down, because she turns into a cartoon-like caricature of herself and I just hate it. Frankly, it has sometimes made it hard for me to continue liking a show I once liked a lot.
