I love his movies and his taste in film music. He's also one of the nicest and most intelligent people I was lucky to work with in Hollywood. I worked as an Extra in THE SIEGE (It was called MARTIAL LAW at the time we were shooting) and bumped into him many times in my L.A. days. We both were flying in and out of Seattle one time and passed each other and he remembered me and asked what I was up to. Cool guy.
1. Leaving Normal - W.G. Snuffy Walden 2. The Last Samurai - Hans Zimmer 3. Blood Diamond - James Newton Howard 4. Once & Again - W.G. Snuffy Walden 5. The Siege - Graeme Revell 6. thirtysomething - W.G. Snuffy Walden
I'm also curious about Snuffy Walden's 1/4life (2005), which I haven't heard yet.
One of my absolute favorite directors! I long for the day that he returns to making films which are epic, in every sense of the word. Of the scores for Zwick films I've heard, I'd rate them thus:
1. Legends of the Fall 2. Glory 3. The Last Samurai 4. Blood Diamond 5. Defiance
