I'm always shocked how actor Barton Heyman is so unrecognizable (in acting, not appearance) as El Segundo when compared to his portrayal of the psychiatrist in The Exorcist. He's more convincing in his non-white role than Lancaster is as a Mexican. Valdez is just Burt with a bad accent.
I was surprised Heymann never got to reprise that role, or similar, in other westerns. He kinda steals the show in that film. It was very similar to Franco Nero's style in A professional gun (il mercenario).
Just so. Wow, Jordan is a real drooling goon in this one! You can tell this is post-Wild Bunch Western with its Peckinpah influence and harsh language.
