The eight single CD incarnations (and a different box set) for the “Gamera” films. 2. Monstrous Movie Music has several releases with an MST3K connection – - “Rocketship X-M” - “Project Moon Base” - “Creature from the Black Lagoon” has tracks re-used in “Revenge of the Creature” - “Monstrous Movie Music” has “Gorgo” which is featured in the new MST3K 25h Anniversary DVD box set . - “More Monstrous Movie Music” has a little “Mole People” - “The Blob” CD has added tracks from the Valentino Production Music Library that pop up in more than one MST3K related film - “This Island Earth” – the film featured in ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000 – the Movie’ 3. Kritzerland – “Invasion USA/Tormented” and “Earth Vs. the Spider” 4. Varese has a little “Deadly Mantis” on “Themes from Classic Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films” 5. The MST3K finale episode “Danger: Diabolik” has an Ennio Morricone score – hopefully on a specialty shop’s CD to-do list. I don't own them, so I have no idea whether of not they are official product, or fan made. The CD is a boot using the film tracks. But the TIE music isn't in any of the other Universal movies that MST3K did send-ups on, such as THE DEADLY MANTIS. Except for a couple of short cues, the score for THE DEADLY MANTIS is original, co-written by Irving Gertz and William Lava. Well, ALMOST original. At the risk of sounding ungrateful for all the great music already released, how cool would it be to have a CD of the score to "The Deadly Mantis"?! I have a distant recollection that the music of "This Island Earth" is in another film or other movies somewhere?
