The opening title of Village Of The Giants appears as the "theme" from Tarantino's Death Proof. You can also get The Beau (Bridges) Brummels songs from various sources.

Most of the original THIS ISLAND EARTH music is in the MST3K movie that used that film. But the TIE music isn't in any of the other Universal movies that MST3K did send-ups on, such as THE DEADLY MANTIS. Except for a couple of short cues, the score for THE DEADLY MANTIS is original, co-written by Irving Gertz and William Lava. Well, ALMOST original. Gertz also used some of the music in THE MONOLITH MONSTERS, as we was scoring both films at the same time. At the risk of sounding ungrateful for all the great music already released, how cool would it be to have a CD of the score to "The Deadly Mantis"?! I have a distant recollection that the music of "This Island Earth" is in another film or other movies somewhere? And thought sure that there is an MST3K movie that mentioned during the movie a re-use of "This Island Earth" music, but, of course, that might just have been a similar sounding theramin-ish moment.
