Thief is one of my favorite films (and now coming soon on Blu Ray from Criterion!!), and this TD score is in my top 10 favorite scores. But Thief I've always enjoyed from seeing the movie way back. Although there isn't much in the way of unreleased music , it'd have been nice to have the other excerpt from Force Majeure used with Belushi at the car lot late in the film. Otherwise if I recall there was a lot of the usual Mann edit and pasting music again into different scenes. The liner notes discusses in detail the film and music editing that Michael Mann did with Bob Badami and Craig Safan concerning all of the spotting on the film with TG's music. Just take the track "Thru Metamorphic Rocks" off the "Force Majeure" album, add it to the CD and you'll pretty much have the complete score.
