When Randy Newman was 24, his uncle Lionel Newman who was head of music at 20th Century Fox paired him with Jerry Goldsmith to write the lyrics for the George C. Scott film, THE FLIM-FLAM MAN.

In this sight-reading performance, singers Stephen Van Dorn and Rena Strober and pianist Mike Farrell give it a go with no rehearsal.

THE FLIM-FLAM MAN (Theme From) lyric by Randy Newman

Here is a link to a checklist of Sheet Music from which this was chosen.

Had no idea there was a song of this, and that Randy Newman did the lyrics no less!

Nice, but I think they should have slowed it down a bit to better hear the lyrics. Otherwise, this is the best so far.
