Voice acting is a lost art. For the last three decades signature voice work has gone to popular celebrities whom can't emote with their voices, and are wrong for the parts. The rest are characters with stupid asinine voices any child could provide.
I've done voice acting for decades. In addition, I do a staged radio play event every year. You have no idea how hard it is to get actors who know HOW to act with their voice. And I don't mean cartoon voice-over type acting. I mean straight, dramatic realistic acting where the only tool you have to convey meaning and emotion IS your voice. It is, indeed, a dying craft. If you want to hear the best of the best voice actors, listen to an episode of radio's GUNSMOKE.
