I don't usually comment on artwork but wow... aside from the tooth face look, what was the designer going for with that cover aside from making Michael look like a drag queen? I think if you get to design a cover for John Carpenter's Halloween, you'd make it reflect the awesomeness and scary factor of the movie. That cover does neither; no face contours and a heavy photoshop filter make it look like a failed art project. IMO.
It would be a lot cooler if it were the original album assembly, as opposed to the "20th Anniversary" edition which is slathered with dialogue and sound effects.
What be interesting to know what the source files used were here. I suspect a simple transfer from the 16-bit files used for the CD, to a DAC and then onto the LP cutting stage. In other words, the worst of both worlds (older digital transfer, played into a DAC, and then cut onto an analogue LP!). If this were a full analogue transfer from the original masters from start to finish then I'd be tempted by this. If it was cut from a digital high-res source (higher than 16-bit) that'd be slightly better, but in that instance I'd prefer the digital files as blu-ray audio or downloads, rather than adding vinyls 'pleasing' distortion anomolies to an older 16-bit master...
Getting a little tired of these rip-off collectables, when really the only collectable thing about them is (in some cases) the cool artwork, coloured vinyl 'ooohhhh' and the fact they're limited edition... It's already available in a perfectly fine sounding CD.

I figured this vinyl would be dropping the dialogue bits. The description also doesn't seem to mention them, either.
