TITLE: NIENTE ROSE PER OSS117
CODE: BCM9522
ARTIST: PIERO PICCIONI
GENRE: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK
BARCODE: 8032539492584
FORMAT: JEWEL CASE + 12-PAGE BOOKLET
RELEASE DATE: 28/10/2013

A new chapter in the series dedicated to Maestro Piero Piccioni, we present the score from the Euro Spy movie NIENTE ROSE PER OSS117, directed in 1968 by Renzo Cerrato and featuring a good cast that included John Gavin, Margaret Lee, Curd Jurgens, Luciana Paluzzi, Rosalba Neri and George Eastman.
For this movie, the popular composer created one of the genre’s most iconic scores, a great support to the movie and full of thematic variety, a feature necessary in order to highlight the different exotic settings typical in these movies.

The CD is presented in a jewel case with liner notes by Andrea Morandi (CIAK Magazine) in a 12-page booklet, mastering by Claudio Fuiano and graphic layout by Alessio Iannuzzi.

TITLE: IL PAESE DEL SESSO SELVAGGIO
CODE: BCM9536
ARTIST: DANIELE PATUCCHI
GENERE: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK
BARCODE: 8032539492782
RELEASE DATE: 28/10/2013

This release marks the debut of an unreleased “couple” in our catalog: director Umberto Lenzi and composer Daniele Patucchi (aficionados of our productions). The latter was given the task of composing the score for THE MAN FROM THE DEEP RIVER (in Italy known as IL PAESE DEL SESSO SELVAGGIO), an adventure movie shot by the great living Tuscan icon in 1972. The movie starred Ivan Rassimov in the guise of an adventurer in faraway lands. The music? In the director’s words, “The score was given to a young composer, Daniele Patucchi. With enthusiasm, professionalism and a significant degree of knowledge of Oriental sounds, Patucchi composed an intense score, realizing both romantic melodies and colorful rhythms. The result is an effective score that even nowadays, decades later, holds fascination and musical elegance.” What else can be said?

The CD is presented in a jewel case, with liner notes by Umberto Lenzi and Fabio Babini, mastering by Claudio Fuiano and graphic layout by Alessio Iannuzzi. Limited edition of 500 copies.

TITLE: CHE CASINO CON PIERINO – I 3 SUPERMEN CONTRO IL PADRINO
CODE: DDJ031
ARTIST: NICO FIDENCO
GENRE: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK
BARCODE: 8032539492805
FORMAT: JEWEL CASE + 12-PAGE BOOKLET
RELEASE DATE: 28/10/2013

An open-handed slap in the face followed by another, this double-bill dedicated to the music composed for pseudo-trash movies celebrates the great proficiency of Nico Fidenco, indomitable and overflowing at a moment in his career in which his skill is perhaps at its most creative level.
Two improbable movies see the popular artist realizing two of the most ruffian scores ever, based on vocal themes with astonishing magnetic charge. The main title of this apocryphal Pierino is no less than surprising, and the same can be said for the main titles of the movie dedicated to the three supermen heroes: a disco funky vocal theme full of drum breaks, high-pitched choirs, verses and refrains that have the power of a 1978 performance at New York’s Studio 54. The influence of the Maestro’s works for television is evident here, since in that period he was often busy creating overwhelming main titles for TV programs that still nowadays ignite memories in all of those who can say, “I was there!” You can neither expect nor avoid it!

The CD is presented in a jewel case with a 12-page booklet, with liner notes by Fabio Babini, mastering by Claudio Fuiano and graphic layout by Alessio Iannuzzi. In the section dedicated to the score of I 3 SUPERMEN CONTRO IL PADRINO, there is an instrumental version of the main titles that has some echoes of the lyrics, but we decided to include for the sake of completeness. We’re sure you’ll appreciate that cue, even with the echo! Limited edition of 500 copies.

TITLE: BON VOJAGE
CODE: DDJ04S
ARTIST: PIERO UMILIANI
GENRE: SYNC
BARCODE: 8032539492751
FORMAT: SLIM JEWEL CASE + MAXI INLAY
RELEASE DATE: 28/10/2013

We continue the series of releases in our DDJ-S (the "S" stands for synchronization) series with a brilliant addition from the discography of popular Tuscan composer Piero Umiliani. Previously released by the Omicron label on LP (now very rare), this album presents all of the proto-disco prerogatives that the composer would further develop in his DISCO MUSIC sync/sound library album (already available in the DDJ-S series, DDJ02S). BON VOJAGE is at the crossroads of the mid-'70s influences that defined the Maestro's histrionic, eclectic and skillful art of the period.

The CD is presented in DDJ-S format (slim jewel case with maxi inlay card, the visible picture disc resembling an LP), a real feast for the eyes, mind and ears! Limited edition of 500 copies.
