Elmer Bernstein composed this trippy song for the Peter Sellers' film, I LOVE YOU, ALICE B. TOKLAS with lyrics by screenwriters Paul Mazursky, and Larry Tucker.

Singers Rena Stober and Stephen Van Dorn pick up good vibes in this first run through with pianist Mike Farrell.

Here is a link to a checklist of Sheet Music from which this was chosen.

Love this! It is my favorite psychedelic film score, and I also love Dave Grusin's CANDY but Elmer's takes the cake. Since this is Warners and the b**t was pretty complete I wonder what the hang-up is?

Thanks sheet music man!

Very cute! Are there any videos out there of Stephen doing some well-rehearsed singing, perhaps Sondheim? I've enjoyed your project, with these cold and unrehearsed readings, but I'd like to see some of these performers given a chance to show some polished work. Let me check them out on YouTube!

I also like this Elmer score a lot and I'd love to see a 'proper' release on CD. A big thanks to sheetmusicman for putting up all the wonderful material for us to see. It doesn't bother me at all when and how sheetmusicman posts I'm just grateful for all his efforts and to be able to see the music sheets!
