For the last few weeks, a lot of sites have been misbehaving. Goodreads, Letterboxd, imdb and others all are frequently (but not always) not loading properly -- the formatting's all screwed up, and it loads mostly as a column of text down a white page. Other sites are also having lesser trouble: for instance, cover images are frequently not loading properly on Amazon.
Are other people having these problems, or is it some bizarre thing on my end? I'm having trouble across multiple browsers so it doesn't seem to be that. . .
Are you using DSL or digital cable? If DSL, you can check if it is VDSL (the fastest DSL) or ADSL or SDSL (the slowest). Believe it or not, it makes a difference. Further, you can check with you ISP and see if there are any issues in the area. Finally, it might be a good idea to have them come out and check you signal coming into the house. We were having issues a few weeks back and they had to adjust the signal coming in. I work from home and it was impacting me quite a bit.
