I would pay a $100.00 for a decent recording of Steiner's score for RUN FOR THE SUN--sadly missing in action according to Bruce Kimmel.

Where did it come from?

I heard it on CBS EZ Cue Library vinyl LP #124. I googled the cue name/composer and found the Gunsmoke reference on Bill Wrobel's Film Score Rundowns site.

That really is a beaut. He was so versatile. It's also got me thinking of the music underscoring the villain-kidnapping-maiden scene in his Miniature for Twilight Zone. Something of a rhythmic/aesthetic association, albeit a loose association.
