The Max Steiner page on the Songwriters Hall of Fame website uses a Burton Lane photo
(http://www.songwritershalloffame.org/exhibits/bio/C239).
I sent an email informing the mistake, but there was no reply or correction.

Actually, saying "Max Steiner mistaken for Burton Lane" means that someone misidentified Max as Burton.

I think you mean "Burton Lane mistaken for Max Steiner" since it's Lane's photo put in place of where Steiner's should be.

Respectuflly suggested.

Good eye, Fabio!

I was interested to read about "Beautiful Greek Girl," which I'd never heard of. Seems Steiner was a child prodigy comparable to Korngold.

I tried years ago to get this photo changed but I couldn't break through their wall of identity.
