Bernard Herrmann's haunting theme from Alfred Hitchcock's MARNIE had lyrics added by Gloria Shayne. Nat King Cole recorded a version.

Here singer Stephen Van Dorn sight-reads the tune accompanied by pianist Mike Farrell.

Another turkey, desperately in need of a bridge.

There's a reason that "Laura" and "Stella by Starlight" became standards, while "Marnie" and "Madeleine" ended up in the junk heap.

The Nat King Cole version pads the song with a piano intro and some orchestral noodlings at the end.
