You sound like you enjoyed it much more then I did.
I wonder if you are ever in the position of doing an interview with someone whose score you really do not care for?
I only cover music that I like, otherwise it wouldn't be worth expending the effort that goes into each interview, and review that I do. Let's just say that if I have any doubts about a score or project being cool or not to cover, I'll make sure to give it an extra-close advance watch and listen.I've definitely passed on some stuff so as not to be put into the hot seat, as many entertainment journalists are when they commit beforehand to cover an actor/picture that turns out to be a turkey they'll feel bad about covering in the morning. But any doubts that I had about ENDER'S GAME were quickly wiped away. In my opinion, it's hands down Steve's best score, and film, no matter the story's noxious author.

Thanks, that sounds like the ethical approach. I know that I could not do that with some product that I did not care for at all.
It used to drive me crazy when ET or some other entertainment show would interview an actor and just pour out praise on the movie, which at least sometime had to be a put upon show I am sure.
Best score and show. That is high praise, I rather like Transformers 1.
