Just listened to the samples - it's like a fusion of my two favourite Conti scores, FYEO and Thomas Crown. Is this reflected in the whole score?

Hi buddy! I'm glad you like the samples. My parents bought this one for me for Christmas so I haven't listened to it yet. But I can't wait!smile

Less than two months to go, pal! I don't always go a bundle on Conti, but your enthusiasm is always inspiring!

Just a couple more weeks and I'll get to finally listen to this, can't wait! I should mention it's a Christmas gift from my parents.

I'd put it up there with my most enjoyed few of 2013. It doesn't seem to get much attention here.

In truth, it didn't get much attention at all (sales wise after the first 48 hours). I'm happy to see people loving it because I thought it was a pretty damn cool Conti score!

MV, I can't wait to hear this one. I'm very sorry to hear it's not doing well. Other than me, and a few others here, Conti is very unappreciated it seems. I don't understand why? I do hope you have more Conti planned for 2014, I'll certainly buy it!

It's a score I liked since I first saw the movie, on VHS sometime in the mid-80s. I even recorded the score to tape since there wasn't any LP or CD at the time.

The meshing of Chopin's Nocturne and the main theme is marvellous, subtle and beguiling.

I'd like the soundtrack a lot more if I could ever get to see the film, but it's never been on DVD. Maybe Twilight Time could issue a Blu-ray.

German region 2 DVD, Bob., under the title "Ich, Der Richter." Anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen. found mine in the SF Amoeba red tag bin. Looks to be OOP, but there are copies floating around.

But is it worth it?
