I actually had a shit job working in a garage that specialized in UK cars - TR3s, MG-Bs, Minis, an occasional Sunbeam Tiger - and we had a client with two Jags. Nice cars, though I only ever took apart gear boxes and transmissions. Never got to drive it, was never good with stick shift.
Although I know when they break or regular maintenance like a tune-up, you better have load of cash, or be mechanical yourself. Them are some pricey machines.
I am a Volvo guy all the way, even when they finally break, the still keep going, or you can tape it back together.
I'm not a car person (in fact, I've never owned a car) and I think there is too much car-dependency in the US, but that doesn't mean I don't recognize a great-looking car when I see one.
btw, I just realized you live in the UK, Mike, so my small 'slight' against American car culture wasn't that relevant in this case.

Oh, I have some very strong opinions on American car culture and global environmental issues, but I'll try not to divulge in that here, since this really about Mike's celebration of his brand new vehicle.
