Sometimes you discover why an unsung/recorded song has achieved that status. Jerry Goldsmith's monumental score to the 1976 sci-fi pic LOGAN'S RUN doesn't seem like a natural for a pop love song, but there is sheet music evidence of the love theme with lyrics by Goldsmith's wife, Carol Heather called "As We Follow the Sun"

Our intrepid singing sight-readers, Stephen Van Dorn and Rena Stober try to tackle this one and barely come out alive.

We did discover a brave soul who wrestle it it before us... on a ukulele!

This is part of a series of performances of obscure sheet music from the collection of Richard Kraft who makes a guest appearance at the end. Mike Farrell plays the piano.

LOGAN'S RUN (As We Follow the Sun) lyrics by Carol Heather

Here is a link to a checklist of Sheet Music from which this was chosen.

No offense to the singers, but I'd love to hear a solo piano version^^.

Hey, that's none other than our own Neil Shurley, the founder of The Cult of Jerry!

Both versions were a hoot! (And I mean that with great affection!)
