I just saw this on VHS and I certainly liked the Kaper score.
There wasn't much, but it was good. It's too bad it didn't make it onto the FSM Kaper set.

David, I don't know if you are aware of the terrific book, "Picture" by Lillian Ross - a punchy, no-holds-barred account of the author's experiences while following the production of the film. The chapter, "Piccolos Under Your Name, Strings Under Mine" has much to say about Mr Kaper's approach to the scoring of this movie.
Amazing that the film itself survived the treatment it received; another case of what might-have-been, in cinematic terms.

I made it a point to see the film just now, so I could read the book. It sounds like you recommend it highly, so now I look forward to it even more.
