Well, now two of the four Black Friday titles are known, this time thanks to Amazon.com:

Presenting the original motion picture score to the world premiere television miniseries event Bonnie And Clyde, starring Emile Hirsch, Holliday Grainger, Holly Hunter and William Hurt, and directed by Bruce Beresford. Acclaimed composer John Debney (Passion Of The Christ, Iron Man 2, Hatfields & McCoys, Jobs) brings this infamous true-life crime saga to roaring life with a robust, knockout score. Bonnie And Clyde premieres December 8 and 9 on the History, Lifetime and A&E networks.

I'm doubtful this is one of the Black Friday releases, doesn't seem in keeping with previous years.

Have these been announced already? Care to drop any clues?

"Matrix: Revolutions", last we heard, was coming at the end of the year, so that's got to be one.

And in another thread here at FSM where people were wondering when "The Ten Commandments" will come, LLLR's offered up a clue(?) on another score:

In the meantime ERNEST SAVES CHRISTMAS will get us through the Holidays!

MV

So, unless I'm totally mistaken, that should be another one.

That catalog list may not be entirely accurate any more though - I, The Jury for one has switched numbers since then. Things change.

So what have we learned from this thread? There is a fifth, and 1 of 5 known?

glad to hear bonnie and clyde is an add on. not to poo poo it, just a relativelyly new release does't quite fit the prestige of black friday. so keep piling it on. i am certainly down for matrix revolutions is that is indeed the one. see what i did there? looking forward to desiphering the other 3!

Darn, Earnest would have been a good one!

Perhaps one of the black titles is another Debney. He did say two of is previous scores would see release this year. We've already seen Hocus Pocus. Perhaps finally LAIR?

Weren’t there hints at one time that there was going to be a golden age release – a Tiomkin - from La-La Land this year?

Anyone interested in actually talking Debney or the score Bonnie and Clyde?

I'm actually really looking forward to this. Debney has been really impressing me lately -- starting with Dream House, which was terrific, and then showcasing such a versatility with modern thriller scores like The Call and Alex Cross. Recently checked out the Relic reissue too and even though it's standard horror filler in parts, in can be quite powerful and exciting.

Trying to imagine what Bonnie and Clyde could be like...any word on instrumentation, size of orchestra, etc?

I'd like to hear anyone's opinion about this score (I've never heard it)
Or seen the TV series.
I've quite a few John Debney scores which I love.

Thanks.

The post only says Police Academy. Will that be a reissue of their Police Academy CD or part 2 or part 2 and 3 or part 2, 3 and 4 or a box set?
