I heard rumors about WILD IS THE WIND, but nothing definite, and not sure if it was to be just a CD release of the lp tracks, or expanded in some way.

I am really surprised, but elated concerning a Golden Age release from LALALAND. I just wonder if Ray Faiola is planning any more Golden Age releases on his Chelsea Rialto/SAE label. That's where I get my Tiomkin scores.

This thread went through the Bermuda Triangle but, unlike so many planes and boats, it's back.

'The Alamo' - complete, original tracks, finally, please? Are they 'available'?

The certainly could be. I've got a good chunk of them shared with me decades ago by an 'insider'. And no - they're not for sale or loan or or CDR-burns or anything unless the legal owners contact me and can't find better versions for a proper, legitimate release. As far as I know the film is owned by MGM-not a good sign except for Mad World. Who presently has music rights? Perhaps the music owners don't even know what is available? Perhaps one of our favorite labels could hunt all of this down if they knew what was available. Or do these 'labels' already know?

I wish "The High and the Mighty" would get a complete official release. Ditto "Giant". These are my top two wish list of Tiomkin scores.
