I made a posting yesterday. It did briefly show up among the topics. But now it has disappeared. If somebody stole it - I know my utterances are greatly valued - but could they please return it?
So as not to inflict suffering on those deprived – here it is repeated:

A Tiomkin release from La-La Land in 2013?

Some time ago weren't there hints about a golden age release - a Tiomkin - from La-La Land during 2013?
Speculating, I'd expect Circus World/Magnificent Showman.
Although perhaps considered too late for golden age, it stands out as the omission among the Bronston-produced spectaculars. Only excerpts have made it to CD, I believe.
What I'd be really overjoyed about would be if some of the holy grail westerns were released.
That: Gunfight at the OK Corral,
Duel in the Sun,
Rio Bravo and
Night Passage
can be unavailable (and probably gone forever?) is thought a crime in these here parts pardner.
Perhaps not golden age - but diamond triumphs ( = DT)
